The Silent Call

'What is it that You want to say,
When I’m still and just pray?
Waiting in the silence and You offer me Your hand,
“Come and let Me show you how prayers make mountains bow.”
Hearts surrender in such awe,
Eyes are closed for the call.
“Come here deeper, join, My friend,
This is the beginning, not the end.”
Your many dreams are yet becoming,
Once the Heaven works on summing
Up the blueprint from the Holy;
Your job is to submit only.
Your requests and biggest wonders,
Never doubt when your mind ponders.
God on the throne is still working,
And His ways are yet turning.
Into present day surprises,
As the new day arises.
For anything can be undone,
And He can save anyone.
He still recalls the golden days,
When darkest moments birthed a haze.
Yet His glory was to come,
And will reach everyone.
Just call His name,
It’s the only fame.
And surely His power will tame
Even the most difficult cases.
For us all He brings the phases,
First and last and in between—
Hearts rejoice what they have seen!'

Questions to Ponder
The Ask: In the line "Your job is to submit only," what specific "wonder" or "request" are you finding it hardest to hand over to the Architect today?
The Shift: The poem mentions "present day surprises." Can you look back at a "darkest moment" and see how it actually birthed a "golden day" later on?
The Identity: If His name is the "only fame," how does that change the way you view your own "difficult cases"?
