The Next Phase

'Come to my shelter,

Open your heart.

In great surrender,

You'll know when to start.

Have no excuses,

Make no mistake;

God's on the throne

For everyone's sake.

He wants the helpless, needy, and poor;

He still awaits right by the door.

Why won't you let Him take all your load

And give you instructions for His only road?

Don't look behind you, or to the side,

Just focus on becoming His holy bride.

He wants consecration,

Every knee to bow.

What happens to a nation

If they don't know how?

Only in the secret, very special place,

He meets His beloved

And shows the next phase—

Handing the keys to those who obey.

See how it's all laid on a silver tray.

Would you be ready

If He called you in

If your voice would erupt through the air that's too thin?

Like Holy Moses, who wouldn't even ask,

Are we to receive this special task?

Only seek for Jesus and then unite

With those who fervently pray all night.

God has not forgotten and will not leave,

But this current moment of tension will grieve

Those who aren't aligning and those who are lost;

They seem to be closer but forgot the cost.

Only through Jesus can the light reside;

Wait until the next enormous new tide.

Only through darkness can light prevail,

But with His army, through storms we will sail.

So no need to escape or build another fort;

Just in Your presence, His power will escort.

Come and be restored,

Let Him reveal

What kind of leaks He must come to seal.

Wounds may be severe, hearts may be weak,

But in His power, we're mighty and meek.

So in troubled hours, He raises His own,

And just like the Bible has already shown:

It comes to alignment—

All tiny and small—

Giant oppression will finally fall.'"
