Chancel Choir

Older youth and adults are welcome to sing with the Chancel Choir. The choir sings weekly at the 9:00 am Sunday traditional worship service. The choir also participates in special services during the year. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir uses four octaves of bells and two octaves of handchimes. Adults who have some music-reading ability are welcome to join. The choir rings for Sunday morning worship services every month or two and occasionally for other special programs and services. Practices are on Wednesdays, 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

Worship Band

Do you play guitar, bass, percussion, or keyboard? Are you interested in singing? Do you prefer contemporary church music? If so, this could be the group for you to serve the Lord. The Worship Band leads the 11:00 am modern service on Sundays. Practices are held on Thursdays at 6:30 pm (as scheduled).

Instrumentalists

If you are interested in playing an instrument, whether as a soloist or in an ensemble, there is a place for you to participate.

Musicals

Our church has staged four major productions - Godspell in 2010, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 2011, and A Christmas Carol - the Musical in 2015 & 2018 - utilizing the uncommon talents of our own church members and including some community members with outstanding abilities. The musicals were wonderful outreach events.

Choir Trips

Our Chancel Choir has performed abroad with the Southwest Michigan Chorale.  In 2017, members toured throughout Ireland. In 2019, they went on a European Capitals Tour to Prague, Vienna and Budapest.  The Chorale gave concerts in cathedrals, as well as seeing many major sites together.  A tour of Italy took place in May, 2022.  In addition to concerts, the group sang at mass in St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican. The next trip is scheduled to take place July, 2024, in France.
