Just a little poem about feelings

Feelings, they rise and sometimes wane,

Fueling joy or sudden pain.

They make us mad, or make us cry,

And force the question, "Oh, why, oh why?"

These feelings twirl like restless wind,

A power we have never pinned.

We're bound to every rollercoaster ride,

Sometimes wishing they would hide.

When happy, all the world is bright,

Then suddenly, a moonless night.

Just little triggers change the scene,

Feelings tricky, sharp, and keen.

When fortune smiles, I see just grace,

But sorrow sets a lonely pace.

Energy surges, till we're lost,

Hardships coming with their cost.

How to find a peaceful ground?

When darkness plays that weary sound.

Frustration wraps in colored grey,

Despair has stolen joy away.

After a while, the storms subside,

And gentle rays of sun arrive.

Sweeter moments start to glow,

And feelings in harmony flow.

Could I compose another tune,

Beneath a hopeful, silver moon?

Where every feeling could unite,

And spoken words would never fight?

Maybe tomorrow brings the key,

And all the locked doors will be free.

A little sorry, a little oil,

And feelings grow in newer soil.

With roses, thorns, and lavender too,

A garden of grace, fresh and new.

On blankets soft of hay and grass,

A magical landscape comes to pass.

Feelings blend in hopeful scope,

Making it easier to cope.

Moments of joy and trials blend,

And love covers all, right to the end.

Give all your sorrows, blame, and strife,

Embrace with gratitude, this life.

Regardless of how you came to be,

Feelings placed you near the sea.

It doesn't matter, if minds are blue,

It doesn't change the facts that are true.

Sometimes the words just flow without time,

And even then, the feelings are fine.

Writing in your native language is like a river in its natural bed; it flows effortlessly, and the words linger with purposeful imagination. But writing in a second language—one learned later in life
