You come first thing in the morning
Like a gentle breeze from the ocean, you blow away my worries, my concerns. I'm still before you, I pause.
What is it that you want me to know right now? That your love never fails and you will always carry me? Your ways are better than mine. Or the million other things that I have no clue about, you take care of them all as well..
It is better to let go of the things we can't control. It is better to focus on the ones we can be part of, be influential and have an impact on.
What are those things and what do they look like? As I pause, you remind me that I always should start with prayer. Learning the art of pausing is the key. It opens the heavy doors and unlocks the dreams. Prayer can move the obstacles of the mind. If we let the fears block our creativity we tend to be bound by the box of safety routines.
I don't think the Creator meant for us to be stuck. I believe He gave us a creative mind to think further. No obstacle is too big when faced with faith.
Overcoming mentality is one of the greatest gifts ever given to a believer. When in doubt the Spirit moves the mountains in front of us and gives us a new desire for things we have not yet tried or even seen.
This morning I'm reflecting on God's goodness and character as a loving Father. How He wants to keep giving us gifts that we desire and how He knows the dreams we never shared with anyone. Father, who never leaves us nor forsakes us. Father, who has our best in mind. Father, who is so delighted to spend time with us and rejoices every day when we choose to come to Him first.
My prayer today is to keep the focus on Him first and foremost so no distraction can steal the better days ahead. Father God is such a faithful Abba, that our childlike faith can only produce more joy when given away. It is my joy to give away this prayer. To send out this blessing to all those who need a little cover for the day. It is my honest desire to see everyone succeed and happy serving the Father from the sincere heart.
When I finish my cup of coffee and face the day I say a prayer for you as well. May your day be blessed and joyful. So that you can walk in light with certainty that God goes before you at all times.
Overcoming mentality - I never actually thought about that as a gift from God! So true that when you turn over something that has been challenging you and you just can't see a way out, that He listens and helps you in either a big way or a series of small ways. Great reflection on pausing - thanks, Tuija. <3
