One Name Alone

Walk Lightly, Walk On

The pressure that you feel from time to time, which causes so much worry, is ultimately fleeting and cannot change the destination of your journey. You may have found treasures along the way, gathered them, revived dead dreams, and blown on wounds that have hurt so deeply... but all of this has ultimately only guided you closer to the glory; that is where you are heading. Your mistakes, your pain, your weakness, and your endless striving have made you more and more ready to endure and to bear just one Name alone.

Is it not so, then, that as you journey, you can cast off more and more of the excess cargo that is no longer needed?

Walk lightly—even if empty-handed, walk nonetheless. Be at peace and keep your eyes fixed on the promise before you; then the sanctuary of peace will remain in your heart. Leave behind all useless pondering and let your very being radiate the powerful message of faith. Then you will rise like an eagle, soar above the clouds, and reach higher and higher, so that the canopy of heaven is your only roof. Your movement will be light, lighter than ever, and behind you will soar the eaglets, following you one by one. For nothing spoken in secret will fail to be revealed in the daylight, and what is proclaimed from the rooftops will remain alive.

The hand of the Lord rests upon His anointed. He sews back together the frayed hem; just like a broken dream or a clay vessel, He pieces it back together from shards into something new. He seals the covenant with His kiss, which is full of warmth and holy honesty. "I see you," He whispers through the arrows as they rain down like an eruption born of a violent storm. "I see your coming and your going, and I will not leave My work unfinished, even if you already wish to escape this moment. I see the depth and the length, and I guide every wave that presses against you. I will come nonetheless; even if My own should go to their hiding place, I will find them there."

Man cannot control or hold anything in his hand that God does not allow. Man is merely chosen to work on the task that has been entrusted to him. Whoever is faithful in a very little, more will be given to him. Whoever is quiet in their work is still found by the Father's eye. Prayers gathered in secret always find their way home.

Preach the word, therefore, whether the time is favorable or unfavorable. Speak so that the continuation of prayers rises like a ribbon into the winds and you hear heaven respond. Look, it bends in the rain and caresses after the storms, and a fresh wind is a sign to those whom the guidance of the Spirit leads onward to the next step.

Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Hebrews 12:1: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."

Luke 12:3: "What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs."

Jeremiah 18:4: "But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him."

Psalm 121:8: "The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."

Luke 16:10: "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much."

2 Timothy 4:2: "Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction."
