Baptism at the Beach is happening September 7th at 1pm next the the pier at Silver Beach! Why is baptism important?
Our Belieifs:
Baptism is the sacrament of initiation into the Body of Christ, the Church. It is a public profession of one’s intent to follow Jesus Christ. The Scriptures tell us to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). Baptism is the beginning of a lifelong process of growth in Christ. It is a sacrament ordained by Jesus Christ and its effects are lasting. In the Global Methodist Church, any Christian Baptism is recognized.
